New Mexico landscape, oil on board, by Milford Greer (1926-1972) c. 1947 and signed on back with his address as 212 S. Main, Lindsborg, the home of his good friend and mentor Lester Raymer. The painting measures 14×16 and is in good condition. Greer was born in Moundridge, KS 1926; died 1972 in an automobile accident. Painter, specialized in still lifes. Studied at Kansas State College, Manhattan, University of New Mexico, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Pupil of Morris Graves. Lived in Taos, NM from 1960-72.
