Description
Charlsen, George, untitled first school house in Kansas, etching, pencil signed in lower right, good condition, image size: 4 x 6 inches. Graduate of Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia in 1961. Worked as a commercial artist in Emporia and in New York. Art Director at Hunter Advertising Agency until January 1967 when he opened his own studio. Served as curator at the Eppink Gallery in Emporia. Became director of the Wichita Art Assoc. gallery in 1968.
