Description
Swensson, Adelia (1880-1968) woodcut, Elms, signed in linoleum block, fair condition, margins have been cut off and woodcut is taped to another sheet of paper, overall toning and a tear in lower center, image size: 12 x 9 inches. Adelia M. Swensson was born March 15, 1880 in Kansas. She studied at Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kansas from 1895-96 and as a pupil of Birger Sandzén from 1927-29. She died in April of 1968.
