Bartz, Jim, 1979 oil on canvas, An Evening with a Red Rose, signed J. Bartz in lower right of painting hanging on the wall behind table, good condition, canvas size 27 x 32.25. James R. Bartz is a known regional artist and educator. He served as an Assistant Professor of Art Education at Wichita State University. His work is frequently associated with the Kansas arts community, having been heavily involved in educational circles and local visual arts projects over the years.
