Description
Fallier, James (1930-2018) watercolor, fall shed, signed Fallier in lower right, good condition, not examined out of frame, image size: 20.5 x 28.5 inches inches. Born June 26, 1930 in McPherson, Kansas, James Fallier was the son of Joseph F. and Gilda H. (Walker) Fallier. He was raised and received his education in Syracuse, Kansas, graduating from Syracuse High School in 1949. After high school, he joined the United States Army and proudly served his country in the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Syracuse. In 1954, he married Donna Davis. To this union three children were born. The couple made their home in Syracuse and in 1957 moved to Cleveland, Ohio where James became Art Director for the American Greeting Card Company. In 1967, the family returned to Syracuse, where James continued his love of art as an independent artist.
