Kent, Norman (1903-1973) 1951 woodcut, Queer House, pencil signed iNorman Kent n lower right, good condition, not examined out of frame, image size: 7.75 x 6 inches. Best known for his woodcuts and watercolors, Norman Kent was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1925. He was awarded a full scholarship to the Art Students League in New York where he finished his studies under Leftwich Dodge and the noted woodcut artist Alan Lewis.
