Description
Stout, Jack, (1937-2003) Hereford cattle, watercolor, signed in lower right, good condition, not viewed outside of frame, image size: 9.75 x 14.25 inches. Jack Stout was a Kansas painter who taught art classes in Hutchinson, Kingman, McPherson, and other cities in Kansas. He did not have any formal art education and did not attend college but was always seeking to teach himself through books and much hands-on practice. Stout was dedicated to volunteering with local organizations such as Friends of the Zoo and served as President of the Hutchinson Art Association. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 65.
