David is a Mayan Kaqchikel artist, organizer, and educator from San Marcos La Laguna, Solola, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. His work centers cultural traditions, heritage, ethnomathematics, science, spirituality/cosmovision, and spoken words from elders. David assists Jícara Ancestral Remedies as the Mayan cultural liaison to help educate and share the longstanding traditions of Kakaw (cacao) and Mayan culture.
