Carmelita Dunlap, (1925-1999) San Ildefonso Pueblo wedding vase, fair condition, has a 3" scratch in side of vase. signed on bottom, 16.5 x 11 x 11. A native American, Carmelita learned pottery from her aunt, Maria Martinez. She was designated a National Treasure during the Nixon administration. The wedding vase symbolizes two lives coming together as one. The two spouts represent the two separate lives. The bridge at the top unites the two lives. The wedding couple will cherish their wedding vase throughout their married life.
Condition: fair condition, 3" long scratch in size of vase
