This original oil on canvas painting by Charles Rogers is titled "Edge of the Waters." Measuring 10" x 12", this piece is in fair condition with some cracking in the paint (see images for details.) Born in Great Bend, Kansas Jan. 27, 1911 and died Salina, Kansans Dec. 10, 1987. He was a painter, teacher, etcher, lithographer and dry pointer. He studied at the National Academy of Design; Bethany College where he earned a BFA; the California College of Arts & Crafts where he earned an MFA; and the Jay Connoway School of Art.
