Lorraine Williams Navajo pottery titled "Rain" measures 13.5" tall x 10.5" in diameter and is in good condition.
Lorraine Williams has been making pottery in the traditional Navajo method with unique designs since 1980. She was featured, along with other famous women potters, in Susan Peterson’s book Pottery by American Indian Women/ The Legacy of Generations. As a result of this book, an exhibit showcasing pottery by these famous women, which included works by Lorraine, recently toured leading museums across the United States. Lorraine was also invited to the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. to demonstrate traditional pottery making. She has also won awards at the prestigious Santa Fe and Heard Museum Indian Markets.While the Raymer Society makes every effort to offer authentic, original artwork it is ultimately the bidders responsible for assessing and determining the work of art’s authenticity, condition and quality before purchasing.
