Gunnerson, Oscar (1884-1962) – winter sunset, watercolor, signed in the lower right, measures 6" x 9", good condition with mild acid burn. Gunnerson was born in Lindsborg, Kansas on June 17, 1884 and died Lindsborg, Dec. 1962, Oscar Gunnarson was a sculptor whose specialty was working in cement. He was also a painter, noted for winter landscapes of Kansas. Gunnarson graduated from Bethany College, in Lindsborg in 1906. He was a pupil of Birger Sandzén.
