Lot 11:
This original oil on paper by Lindsborg artist, Oscar Gunnerson (1884-1962) of corn shocks in the snow measures 6" x 9", is signed in the lower right and in good condition. Gunnerson lived is entire life in Lindsborg, Kansas. He was a sculptor whose specialty was working in cement but was also a painter, noted for winter landscapes of Kansas. Gunnarson graduated from Bethany College, in Lindsborg in 1906. He was a pupil of Birger Sandzén and worked at Malm Bothers as resident manager and was in charge of the stencil operation.
