The drawings are first done with Prismacolor pencils, sometimes blended with colorless blender. Machine stitching is added to create textures. All drawings are archival matted and framed. Carla Scott, Lindsborg, was the 1st director of the Raymer Society/Red Barn Studio after it was opened as a museum. She worked for many years as a studio artist in clay and photography. She taught classes and workshops in studio arts for businesses, museums, art centers, public schools and colleges and universities. She has also been a juror and curated many local and regional art shows. Scott’s images were inspired by flowers in the garden of her home which she shared with the late Steve Scott who was also an artist.
