"Desert in Bloom at Westward Look, " New Mexico desert scene, ca. 1952, is a line block (relief etching.) It measures 9 x 12 and is in good condition. It was created by Norma Bassett-Hall born 1889 died 1957. She was a painter, block printmaker, teacher, watercolorist spec. scenes of Kansas, Oregon and New Mexico. She studied at the School of the Portland Art Assoc. and an Art Institute of Chicago graduate in 1918. She was a charter member of the Prairie Print Makers.
