"Melons" by Milford Greer (1926-1972), oil on board, is in good condition and measures 7.5×15.5 and is signed "Greer" in lower left. Greer was born in Moundridge, KS 1926; died 1972 in an automobile accident. Painter, specialized in still lifes. Studied at Kansas State College, Manhattan, University of New Mexico, and the Art Institute of Chicago. Pupil of Morris Graves. Lived in Taos, NM from 1960-72.
