"Lunch" is an original watercolor, in good condition, by Dolores Gaston Runbeck. The exposed watercolor measures 18.75×13.5, total dimensions are 28.25×22.25×1, signed "D Gaston Runbeck 1964" in lower right. (1898-1994) Dolores Gaston Runbeck was a painter, specifically floral still lifes, landscapes, religious and symbolic compositions, portraits and expressionistic abstracts. ..Studied at Bethany College, Lindsborg with Birger Sandzen from 1923-28 and at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Chicago School of Applied Art, the Art Students League. Taught at Bethany College from 1926-1929 then established her own studio in Lindsborg. She was a member of Prairie Water Color Painters, Prairie Print Makers Society, Kansas Federation of art, Lindsborg Artists Guild. Collections: Sandzen Memorial Art Gallery.
