Rogers, Charles, lithograph, "Cultivating", pencil signed lower right, good condition with some toning, image 7.5×10 inches. A painter and art educator, Charles B Rogers (1911-1987) was known for his airy landscapes of the American West, often with pastel hues executed in oil. He was born in Great Bend, Kansas, and studied at the National Academy of Design; Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas under Birger Sandzen; the California College of Arts and Crafts; and with Dong Kingman and Jay Connaway.
Condition: good with some toning
