Jennie Maud Ellsworth, "Dwellings" linoleum cut, good condition, pencil signed lower right, image size6 x 8.75 inches. Maud Ellsworth, born Fontana. Artist. Teacher. Graduate of University of Kansas, Lawrence; student of R. Lagano. In 1957 Ellsworth received the Master Teacher Award from Emporia State Teacherâ€™s College. Art supervisor in the Lawrence schools who taught art at University high school in 1944. Her scarf called "Kansas Fields" was displayed when the renovated Lawrence Public Library reopened Nov. 1937.
