Wayne Conyers, 1999 watercolor, "Red Fish, Blue Fish", good condition, signed lower right. image size: 4.5 x 6.5. Wayne Conyers was raised in Marion, Kansas. His undergraduate work was completed at Bethany College in 1971 with a BA degree in art education. He taught secondary art in Baldwin, Kansas from 1974 to 1983. During that time, Wayne completed an MA degree in painting from the University of Missouri in Kansas City. In August of 1983 he accepted a position at McPherson College, McPherson, Kansas, and in 1997 he completed an MFA degree in painting from Fort Hays State University. Conyers retired in 2018 and continues to work in watercolor and pottery.
