Description
Thibodeau, Nicole, 2015 oil on board, Power Place, signed NT in lower right, good condition, board size: 8.5 x 8.5 inches. Nicole Thibodeau grew up in Taos, New Mexico; the daughter of Rich Thibodeau, a painter and Karen Thibodeau, an actress and playwright. She received her BA in Studio Art from Bethany College in Lindsborg, KS (2003) and her MFA at Fort Hays STate University in Hays, KS (2008). She also received instruction at the Art Students League in New York, Lacoste School of the Arts in France, as well as from Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy. She has found inspiration in everyday objects, accentuating their sacred, ceremonial aspects. Her work encompasses printmaking, portraiture, landscape as well as non-representational art. She currently resides in Taos, NM and continues to paint.
