Description
Holdsworth, Gene, chipcarving on wood, wood ornament, signed Gene Holdsworth, good condition, ornament size: 3.75 x 3.75 x 3.75 inches. Holdsworth spent his working career teaching music at Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS. Upon retirement took up chip carving, a distinct style of woodcarving where a knife is used to remove small, precise chips of wood from a flat surface.
