Kennedy, Della (1887-1967) "Old Trees After the Flood" linoleum cut, pencil signed in lower left, fair condition, overall toning and water stains, (artwork not viewed out of frame) image size: 9 x 11.75 inches. Della Kennedy (1887-1967) studied at Bethany College, Lindsborg, Kansas from 1927-1931 as a pupil of Birger Sandzen. She was Born Della Jean Platt in Ohio, at a young age she moved to a farm north of Geneseo in Ellsworth County, Kansas. She married Dan Condon, but he died in 1912. She later married William A. Kennedy, but it did not work out and she divorced him in 1922.
