As much as we try to avoid bidding issues between floor bidders and online bidders, it occasionally happens. If a miscommunication arises between in-house and online bidding, the Raymer Society’s policy is to prioritize the accepted bid of the in-house bidders.
Phone & Absentee
To place a phone bid or absentee bid, call the Red Barn Studio at
before the scheduled date of the auction.
Auction Reserve Prices
Several items in the auction have a reserve price, meaning they will not sell below the minimum amount agreed upon with the consignor.
When an item with a reserve comes up for bidding, we will let bidders know. Bidding will proceed as usual. If the highest bid does not meet the reserve, the auctioneer will announce the reserve amount and reopen bidding.
The Raymer Society’s policy is to protect the contracted reserve prices.
Post-Auction
After the close of the auction, please arrange in-person pickup or shipping by emailing us at raymerauctions@redbarnstudio.org
Please don’t just show up without contacting us first, we need time to prepare your item(s).
Auction invoices will be sent the week following the auction’s conclusion after shipping costs are received.
